James C. Siebert
James C. Siebert is an experienced Elder Law Attorney and the principal attorney at the Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorneys of Illinois, P.C. / Law Office of James C. Siebert & Associates, P.C. James opened his own law office in 1985. James is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation. Although board certification is not required by the Illinois Supreme Court in order to practice elder law, it evidences strong commitment to and expansive knowledge of elder law. James is one of only 15 Certified Elder Law Attorneys (also known as a “CELA”) in Illinois, having been certified by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF). NELF’s CELA designation is the only American Bar Association approved designation for elder law. Paige N. Fox
Paige N. Fox is an Associate Attorney at the Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorneys of Illinois, P.C. / Law Office of James C. Siebert & Associates, P.C. Paige attended law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law in downtown Chicago, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree and a Certificate in Public Interest Law. While at Chicago-Kent, Paige was an active mentor in Chicago-Kent’s Student Mentor Program, as well as a member of a variety of organizations including the Phi Alpha Delta professional legal fraternity, Society of Women in Law, the Child and Family Law Society, Chicago-Kent Sportfeasors, and First-In-Law Society. Paige was a member of the Dean’s List for multiple semesters and a recipient of the Dean’s Certificate of Service in recognition of her commitment to public service and over 200 hours of volunteer service she earned during her time at Chicago-Kent.
Prior to becoming an Associate at the Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorneys of Illinois, P.C. / Law Office of James C. Siebert & Associates, P.C., PC, Ms. Fox was a 711 licensed law clerk and then volunteer attorney for the Illinois Protection and Advocacy Commission, Equip for Equality (EFE). At Equip for Equality, Paige provided legal services to people with all types of disabilities, both mental and physical, and ranging in age from newborn babies to senior citizens. Much of Paige’s time at Equip for Equality was spent investigating the Office of the Inspector General’s reports of abuse and neglect and traveling to different mental health facilities, nursing homes, and hospitals to meet with clients and interview facility staff. Paige also gained experience in a variety of other areas of law by working on adult guardianship cases, employment discrimination cases based on disability, and death investigations. She also assisted individuals in obtaining and maintaining their civil rights by aiding homeless veterans in need and advocating voting rights for individuals with disabilities. Read more
Kyle T. Siebert
Kyle T. Siebert is an Associate Attorney at the Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorneys of Illinois, P.C. / Law Office of James C. Siebert & Associates, P.C. Kyle attended law school at the George Washington University Law School in Washington D.C., where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. While at George Washington University Law School Kyle was a Staff Editor on the American Intellectual Property Law Association Journal, Fundraising Chair for the Student Intellectual Property Law Association, and a member of Lambda Law. During his time at George Washington Kyle was an intern at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Resilience Preparedness and Continuity Legal Division, where he supported FEMA’s Intellectual Property counsel in daily administration and overall management of FEMA’s Intellectual Property, including preparation of licenses, agreements, reports, patent and trademark applications. As a third year law student at George Washington Kyle was a Student Attorney for the Prisoner and Reentry Clinic, where he was responsible for all phases of Reduction in Minimum Sentence cases.
Prior to becoming an Associate at the Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorneys of Illinois, P.C. / Law Office of James C. Siebert & Associates, P.C., Kyle had the opportunity as a summer associate at two well-known law firms, one located in Chicago and one in Boston, working in several areas including Franchise Law, Employment Law, Medical Law and Litigation. While Kyle enjoyed his work for those firms, he realized that he wanted to work in an area of law where he would have direct Client contact, and where his legal representation could have a profoundly positive impact on the Client’s life. While clerking at the Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorneys of Illinois, P.C. / Law Office of James C. Siebert & Associates, P.C. while studying for the bar exam, Kyle realized that practicing in the areas of elder law and estate planning he would be able to work on cases which would provide him with intellectual challenges while allowing him to get the personal satisfaction of knowing that he had made a positive impact on his clients lives.
