Kyle T. Siebert -Attorney at Law
Prior to becoming an Associate at the Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorneys of Illinois, P.C. / Law Office of James C. Siebert & Associates, P.C., Kyle had the opportunity as a summer associate at two well-known law firms, one located in Chicago and one in Boston, working in several areas including Franchise Law, Employment Law, Medical Law and Litigation. While Kyle enjoyed his work for those firms, he realized that he wanted to work in an area of law where he would have direct Client contact, and where his legal representation could have a profoundly positive impact on the Client’s life. While clerking at the Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorneys of Illinois, P.C. / Law Office of James C. Siebert & Associates, P.C. while studying for the bar exam, Kyle realized that practicing in the areas of elder law and estate planning he would be able to work on cases which would provide him with intellectual challenges while allowing him to get the personal satisfaction of knowing that he had made a positive impact on his clients lives.
Kyle completed his undergraduate studies at the Michigan State University as a part of the University’s Honors College. Kyle received a Bachelor of Science in Physics, with Minors in Computer Science, Mathematics and Spanish. During his four years at Michigan State, Kyle was a Research Assistant to Dr. Georg Bollen, Director Experimental Systems Division, Facility for Rare Isotope Beams National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory. In addition to his research position, Kyle was also a Teaching Assistant in the Physics Department, for Physics 233 and 234 – introductory kinematics and electromagnetism and the Computer Science Department, for CSE 220: Programming in C Language and CSE 260: Discrete Structures in Computer Science. Kyle participated in a study abroad program, attending Menéndez Pelayo International University Santander, Spain. While in East Lansing, Kyle acted as a volunteer at Sparrow Hospital Emergency Department, President of the Michigan State Judo Club.
Prior to going to college Kyle was very active in sports, Boy Scouts, and volunteer activities. During high school Kyle participated in football, wrestling, and gymnastics. As a member of the gymnastics team, Kyle competed in two Illinois state finals, and was a finalist in the ring competition. Kyle was active in scouting both prior to and during high school, going on numerous high adventure outings and being active in the Troop leadership, and was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout. Kyle currently lives in Chicago, where he enjoys a variety of activities in his free time including rock climbing, biking, and snowboarding.
Kyle has been an Associate Attorney at the Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorneys of Illinois, PC / Law Office of James C. Siebert & Associates, PC since becoming an attorney. Kyle is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) Illinois Chapter, Illinois Bar Association and is licensed to practice in Illinois as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
